Our antioxidant ampoules are stuffed full with pure ingredients and give your skin extra care, more protection and a great glow!
The new, trendy ingredient, astaxathin, gives the oil part of our ampoules their characteristic reddish colour. This antioxidant from the group of carotenoids is obtained in Austria from unicellular green algae (Haematococcus pluvialis). The algae change from green to red as soon as the full power of the ingredients begins to develop. For these plants, this is a natural protective mechanism to react to stress and changes in the environment, such as UV radiation or a change in the CO2 content of the water. And astaxanthin has exactly this effect on our skin: it protects and strengthens our cell membranes, has an anti-inflammatory effect and above all regenerates sun-damaged skin. The antioxidative effect of astaxanthin is even up to 6,000 times stronger than that of vitamin C, which makes it a perfect protector for your skin. So free radicals have no chance.
The organic sea buckthorn oil from Germany also gives a real boost of vitamins and antioxidants. The orangey-red to yellow fruits of the sea buckthorn, from which the oil is extracted, are known for their high vitamin C content and have been valued for their wound-healing and anti-inflammatory effects since ancient times. We now know that the plant can even protect the skin from UV rays and ease pigmentation. In addition, blackberry leaf extract prevents sun-induced skin ageing and maintains the skin's elasticity by inhibiting collagen breakdown. Hyaluron provides intensive moisture and squalane gently cares for the skin and keeps it supple.
Our antioxidant ampoules are suitable for anyone who wants that extra glow and protection against premature skin ageing. Simply shake well, flick, break open and pamper your skin with the best ingredients in the world of antioxidants.
Use the ampoules two to three days a week in the evenings after cleansing. Shake the ampoule well and flick lightly with your fingers against the tip until all the contents has collected in the bottom. To open, cover the neck of the ampoule with a cloth or pad and carefully break the glass. Then drip all of the concentrate into your palm and spread it evenly on your face, neck and décolleté. Please avoid direct eye contact. Then you can continue with your care routine as usual, e.g. with hyaluronic day cream.
FAQs - frequent questions
Free radicals are created on the one hand as a kind of waste product from breathing and on the other hand as a result of external factors such as UV radiation and pollutants from the environment. In the skin, these highly reactive oxygen compounds can damage cell membranes and cell nuclei. They also attack the structural proteins collagen and elastin, which are essential for a smooth and even complexion. As a result wrinkles can appear and the skin looks pale and tired.
Antioxidants, on the other hand, are real radical scavengers, they neutralise free radicals and thus help the skin to regenerate.
