YOUR SENSITIVE SKIN NEEDS CAREFUL ATTENTION.
The causes of a sensitive skin condition are very diverse. Often it is a sensory insensitivity without medically apparent symptoms. Low-fat, dry skin is often more sensitive than oily skin. Due to the disturbed barrier layer, irritating substances can penetrate deeper into the skin of the sensitive skin type, which leads to inflammation and immune reactions.
This can lead to increased sensitivity to substances that are otherwise well tolerated. The most important thing for you is to know and avoid the triggers for your irritations. Focus on strengthening your skin barrier and slowly acclimatise it to new products. If you need help, we are happy to advise you.
Tip 1: Handle your skin with care.
Any friction can irritate yours. Therefore, after a gentle cleansing, for example with our cleansing oil, simply pat your skin dry with a soft cloth without rubbing.
Tip 2: Avoid products containing alcohol.
It's best to avoid alcohol-based skin care products all together. Our Aloe Vera Gel cares for and soothes your skin at the same time.
Tip 3: Less is more for your skin.
The best rule for you: The fewer products you allow on your sensitive skin, the lower the risk that you will react to them. In particular, avoid fragrances, essential oils, alcohols and preservatives altogether.
Tip 4: Use UV protection.
Sensitive skin in particular cannot protect itself well enough against dangerous UV radiation. Support it by applying an additional sunscreen, such as our sun creme, with a high SPF of 30, every day. Your skin will thank you.
