WHAT MAKES A COMBINATION SKIN?
Your skin actually consists of two types. If we start from healthy normal skin , combination skin, as its name suggests, consists of a combination. It is usually the case that the T-zone tends to have what is called seborrhoea, i.e. an overproduction of sebum. On the other hand, too little sebum is produced on the cheeks and sometimes also around the eyes. This dries out your skin, especially in these areas, and makes it unbalanced.

DEDICATE MORE ATTENTION TO YOUR COMBINATION SKIN.
Combination skin is common and simply needs more attention. The possible causes are numerous and depend on your genes, hormones and lifestyle. The older you get, the more your skin tends to dry out, especially on the cheeks.
The good news is that you can get your skin back to normal. But it's important to recognise your skin's mixed condition and find the right care for it. Our 4 tips will help.
Tip 1: Cleanse your skin gently.
Because your skin is not only oily but also dry, it's important not to use harsh cleansers. You can even use a mild cleanser like our cleansing gel for both areas.
Tip 2: Treat oily and dry areas differently.
A little extra effort pays off here, we promise. Depending on how different your two skin conditions are, care for the oily T-zone differently from the dry cheeks. Jojoba oil, for example, is suitable for both.
Tip 3: Avoid heavy creams.
Use products that are as light as possible, such as our aloe vera gel. To ensure that your cheeks receive enough lipids, apply a richer cream to this area, such as the retinol cream.
Tip 4: Use enough UV protection.
No matter how you react to the sun, UV protection is essential for your facial skin. Especially in summer, but also in winter, UV rays reach your skin. Therefore, it isbest to use an SPF of at least 30, like our sun cream.
