Short Description
Our creamy Ceramide Serum strengthens the skin barrier, nourishes with the body's own lipids and soothes irritated and neurodermatitis-prone skin.
Ceramides are a key component of our top layer of skin and make up to 60% of the lipids in the skin barrier. They keep moisture in the skin, protect it from environmental influences and prevent it from drying out. If this protective function is impaired by external influences, the skin can dry out and no longer produce sufficient ceramides, which manifests itself in an irritated skin appearance, dried and chapped areas, a feeling of tension and itching.
In our Ceramide Serum, we use 5 of the most important types of ceramides to build up and sustainably strengthen your skin barrier and soothe irritated, reddened areas. In addition to the direct ceramides, we also use the ceramide precursors phospholipids and sphingolipids. They are building blocks of the cell membrane in our skin cells and help your body as a starting material in the formation of new ceramides. Sodium PCA is an important component of the skin's own natural moisturising factors and helps to bind water, thus protecting your skin from moisture loss.
With our Ceramide Serum, you have an effective product to soothe your skin and especially to care for sensitive, dry and neurodermatitis-prone skin.
Note: The Ceramide Serum is currently available with a pipette attachment in our shop and in the store. This allows you to dose the serum perfectly.
Use Ceramide Serum in the morning and/or evening, preferably after your toner. If you use other serums, apply Ceramide Serum as the last serum, otherwise it will prevent water-based serums from being absorbed properly. Use the pipette to apply about 2-3 pump drops to your fingertips and massage in gently from the centre of the face outwards. Focus especially on the areas where you have dry or irritated patches.
