Small, water-soluble, and with great effect: Vitamin C – better known as ascorbic acid in chemistry. Thanks to its antioxidant effect it protects our collagen framework and also ensures the new formation of skin-firming vitamin E and collagen. Vitamin C has an anti-inflammatory effect, which means redness and pigmentation spots visibly decrease and blemishes or pimple marks heal faster. Pure vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) is quite acidic for our skin and could therefore cause strong irritations, which is why we have deliberately chosen a derivative, called ascorbyl glucoside. It is converted into the effective form of Vitamin C directly in the skin through biochemical processes, for a particularly skin-friendly application. Convince yourself and make your skin glow! Speaking of radiance: Please remember to use additional UV protection, as our serum has no SPF.
Take it slow and start with small doses at first. Make sure you cleanse your skin thoroughly before applying the serum. This allows tit to gently unfold its effect. Apply our vitamin C serum to your face, neck and décolleté in the morning or evening. Then gently pat in a thin layer with your fingers and give your skin a moment to fully absorb the serum.
Then you can continue your usual routine. But don’t forget your sunscreen (at least SPF 30), as ascorbic acid exfoliates the skin.
Ascorbyl Glucoside is also stable in less acidic environments, which is why our Vitamin C Serum can also be combined with our Retinol Cream (pH 6) or Retinol Serum (pH 5).
Personal tip: Especially during the winter months, areas such as shoulders, neck and decolté don’t get in touch with air as much as they might need to. The result: impurities and pimples. I started applying the Vitamin C Serum on these areas and my skin has been a lot smoother and more even ever since.

FAQs - frequent questions
The Vitamin C Serum contains close to 1.5% Ascorbyl Glucoside.
In most cases, the skin is not used to the external supply of new nutrients and needs about 1-2 weeks to be able to process them properly. Give your skin time and slowly accustom it to Vitamin C. Start with 2-3 times a week and then gradually increase the intensity. However, if the irritation does not subside, then we recommend stopping the use of it and contacting us.
Free radicals are produced naturally in our body by metabolic processes. Due to stress, an unhealthy lifestyle, or negative environmental influences, such as smog in big cities or
cigarette smoke, the number of free radicals in our body unfortunately increases rapidly. This can quickly have a negative effect on our skin appearance.
In general, the serum is also suitable for skin prone to acne and pimples. However, every skin type reacts differently and we therefore recommend trying out the serum first.
The ascorbyl glucoside contained is produced biotechnologically.
