From one extreme to the other. When the idea for JUNGLÜCK was born, Benedikt Klarmann still had a successful online print shop, drove a big car and was constantly flying around the world. At home he always overheard the conversations between his mom and his girlfriend, who were unhappy with their cosmetic products. And he started to think about what could be done. So the idea of changing not only the cosmetics market, but above all his own way of thinking and acting began to grow.
IN THE BEGINNING THERE WAS A LOT OF LEARNING.
About the cosmetics industry, about our environment and about ourselves. After Benedikt could see with his own eyes on his travels what incomprehensible overexploitation of nature we, as humans, are carrying out and how carelessly nature's resources are used, he became more and more conscious that this must not continue.
That's why JUNGLÜCK started out with the question of what our new cosmetics brand should be like. Immediately it was clear: as sustainable as possible. Right from the start, we put the issue of sustainability on an equal level with economic efficiency. Having and facing an increasing climate awareness, we knew that we would have to make compromises.
Benedikt then acquired the necessary expertise with the help of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and medicine experts and looked for producers and manufacturers. The first products for which he concentrated purely on tolerability and effect were Aloe Vera Gel, das Vitamin C Serum und das Hyaluron Concentrate.
QUICKLY THE DEMAND FOR PURE, SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTS WAS HIGH.
After the first sales trials were started online, the first positive feedback was quickly received. The demand for pure and sustainable care products was great. So great, in fact, that Benedikt sold his print shop so that he could dedicate himself entirely to the development of JUNGLÜCK.
By the way: The name JUNGLÜCK was created from a feeling that should express how you feel with our products: young and completely happy. The name should be German to show where our roots are.
Now, with 32 purely natural products - from facial care, hand soap and shampoo to our baby products - we make many more people happy than just Benedikt's mom and his girlfriend.

Founder Benedikt Klarmann was born in 1987, is since short father of a son and started with small businesses at the age of 14. At the age of 18 he founded his own online print shop and since 2 years he is leading JUNGLÜCK into a more sustainable future.

THE JOURNEY IS THE DESTINATION.
When you start a business today that is supposed to be sustainable, but still want to meet a higher demand, things get complicated. The market is shared by a few. It is often difficult to concentrate on the essentials in the procurement process and in the production and to meanwhile observe all legal requirements.
Especially because it is that important to us to know our suppliers in detail, to know how our ingredients are produced and under which conditions. This is our greatest challenge, which again and again demands compromises from us, but at the same time drives us to continue.
It already started with the fact that most cosmetics are filled in plastic. It took us quite a while to find a partner with whom we could fill all our products into recycled amber glass without exception.
WHERE THE JOURNEY IS TO GO.
Our goal is and remains to close the circle at some point in the long term. We want to focus on working with smaller producers, we want to get our ingredients from controlled organic cultivation. We want to give local suppliers the chance to contribute to something big.
And we aim to encourage rethinking. Rethinking our own ways, rethinking the procurement process and of course rethinking yourself. Because we believe that with your daily care you can also contribute to a more sustainable life. A path that we are just beginning and on which you accompany us with all of your positive feedback.
