Short Description
Small, water-soluble and with great effect: vitamin C. Ascorbic acid, better known in chemistry, protects our collagen framework thanks to its antioxidant effect and additionally ensures the new formation of skin-tightening vitamin E and collagen. Vitamin C has an anti-inflammatory effect, redness and uneven pigmentation are visibly reduced and impurities or pimples heal faster. Pure vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) is quite acidic for our skin and could irritate it severely. We therefore deliberately chose a derivative, namely ascorbyl glycoside, because it is only converted into its effective form in the skin by chemical processes. This gives you a particularly skin-friendly application. See for yourself and make your skin glow! Speaking of radiance: Please remember to provide your skin with additional UV protection in spring and summer, as our serum does not have an SPF.

Approach slowly and start with small concentrations. Make sure to clean your skin thoroughly before application. This will allow the serum to develop its effect slowly. Apply our Vitamin C Serum morning or evening to your face, neck and décolleté. Then tap the thin layer lightly with your fingers and give your skin a moment to fully absorb the serum.
After that you can apply your moisturizer as usual. As ascorbic acid can have an exfoliating effect, you should apply a sunscreen of at least SPF30 during the day.
Ascorbyl glycosides are also stable in less acidic environments, which is why our vitamin C serum can also be combined with our retinol cream (pH 6) or retinol serum (pH 5).
Personal tip: Especially in winter, my skin on my décolleté, shoulders and neck gets less exposure to fresh air than it might wish. Impurities and pimples can quickly develop. I also use the Vitamin C Serum on these areas and have had much less problems with my skin since then.

FAQs
Our vitamin C serum contains just under 1.5% ascorbyl glucosides.
In most cases, the skin is not used to the external supply of new nutrients and needs about 1-2 weeks to process them well. Give your skin time and slowly accustom it to vitamin C. First increase the intensity 2-3 times a week and then gradually. However, if the irritations do not appear, we recommend that you stop using the product and contact us.
Free radicals are created naturally in our body through metabolic processes. Due to stress, an unhealthy lifestyle or negative environmental influences, such as smog in large cities or cigarette smoke, the number of free radicals in our body unfortunately increases rapidly. This can quickly have a negative effect on our skin.
In principle, the serum is also suitable for skin with a tendency to acne and pimples. However, each skin type reacts differently and we therefore recommend that you try the serum first.
The ascorbyl glucoside contained is produced biotechnologically.
